Sabine Becker

Art Gallery Website

First version in 2007 with Adobe Flash

The painter Sabine Becker lives and works on Lake Constance. She consistently focuses on the color blue, or more precisely: cobalt blue. Color is her actual means of expression, and the reduction to the color blue is a central feature of the artist's work. Blue, the color of distance and unlimited dimensions, has the effect of a monochromatic explosion on the viewer. Sabine Becker's works show a structured surface that emphasizes the materiality of color and has a strong haptic character. Her works are represented in numerous public collections and have been shown at exhibitions from A for Appenzell to T for Tokyo.

Flash Web Gallery

The first website we created for Sabine Becker in 2007 was a Flash website, which on the one hand represented a reduction to each individual image shown, and on the other hand attracted attention when opened with an elaborately programmed water effect (ActionScript).

Relaunch 2012

The new website now dispenses entirely with effects and can therefore also be run on mobile devices (iPad, iPhone). The aim of the web design is to present the images appropriately on the Internet, similar to a gallery.
