The dynamic development of the internet economy continues: according to the results of the study "The German internet economy 2012 - 2016. Figures, trends and theses" (eco e.V. / Arthur D. Little), there will be annual growth of around 11% until 2016. An estimated 80,000 new jobs will be created and the prospects beyond 2016 are also pretty good. The internet economy will therefore become a growth driver for the economy as a whole.

Mobile internet and the ability to display rich, multimedia content (text, images, audio, video + interaction, ...) in particular are driving growth.
