At the second meeting of the Drupal User Group Bodensee there were a lot of topics to discuss: e.g. that the DrupalCon in Barcelona was a huge success - and how, as a contrast to this success, several jobs at Acquia were cut the following week...
... that in a few months the Drupal Mountain Camp will once again take place in Davos in a fantastic landscape; that Matt Mullenweg's current behavior may be damaging the entire open source movement ...
At the 2nd meeting of the Drupal User Group Bodensee, we look forward to pizza and the exchange
... after the pizza Lorenz Schori (@znerol) told us about the efforts to get the Symfony Mailer into the Drupal Core and invited us to help with this Issue...
... we talked about the ActivityPub protocol and possible uses together with Drupal... about naming the components of a CMS and how this naming can be improved in the Drupal CMS (aka Starshot)
... Web components and examples in productive use were also discussed again; in addition, the question of how they (as independent micro software projects) should be sensibly "planted" in the Drupal ecosystem via Composer (spoiler: "type": "drupal-library" );
But we were particularly pleased to welcome new faces to the local user group. We are already looking forward to the next meeting!
