Corporate design and website
The tourism market for cruises is booming. However, there are practically no offers in the luxury segment on the web. The new creation of the website Luxury-Cruises.ch aims to serve this niche on the Swiss market. Combined with a redesign of the existing website Exklusives-Reisen.ch, which specializes in the luxury hotel segment, the aim is to create a strong duo that complements each other: those who go on a luxury cruise often also need a suitable hotel. We were able to oversee the creation of the new website from start to finish: starting with a market analysis, selection of brand name and domain, logo and claim ("Only First Class Cruises") through to web design and web development.

Color Branding
We paid particular attention to the fact that this was a newcomer to the market. It was therefore all the more important to ensure a high level of memorability for visitors to the website: for example, the brand name "Luxus-Kreuzfahrten.ch" is also the domain and can also be found in the logo. In the design, care was taken not only to convey a certain value (logo in gold, plenty of space for the logo in the header, headline serif font, ...), but also to create an unmistakable identity through a completely independent color-branding.

Web technologies
Technically, the website is based on the open source content management system "Drupal". A particular challenge, both conceptually and technically, was to implement the AJAX search function. The search works according to the " Faceted Search" principle. For the user, this means that they can narrow down or filter the search results further and further according to their requirements. A prerequisite for this is that the luxury cruises offered are also categorized accordingly within the content management system and provided with corresponding metadata or semantics. These special features of the content also make it possible not only to send personalized newsletters. The user also has the option of pre-selecting the content according to their areas of interest.

Customer feedback
The Ticket Shop has been our customer since 2006. Since then, the travel agency has increased its turnover and profit every financial year. With a total of seven travel websites and social media activities, the ticket store has a strong online presence and has managed to successfully occupy lucrative niches in the luxury travel and luxury flights segment at an early stage.
