Website Computer Graphics and Geometry Laboratory

Responsive web design and frontend development with Bootstrap

For the School of Computer and Communication Sciences of the internationally renowned Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne), we were able to conceptualize, design and implement the new website for the Computer Graphics and Geometry Laboratory. The research work of the Computer Graphics and Geometry Laboratory focuses on the most efficient representation of 3D models, e.g. through the development of algorithms or data capturing. Research is also being conducted in the areas of geometric computing, 3D modeling, shape analysis, simulation, design and interaction.

In comparison to the previous version of the website, the web design has been greatly reduced so that the content has been given a stronger weighting than the web design. Technically, the new site was implemented with the Bootstrap Framework. The new site is of course responsive, i.e. it adapts to the screen size of the respective end device (e.g. smartphone, tablet, laptop, desktop).
