Designing the Drupal Remote Dashboard
Monitor and maintain Drupal installations via "remote maintenance"
The Drupal Remote Dashboard (DRD) is a Drupal module that can be used to monitor and maintain countless Drupal installations via "remote maintenance".
In addition to the Drupal Remote Dashboard, another Drupal module, the DRD Agent, is required on the individual Drupal installations to enable back communication.
"The Drupal Remote Dashboard is the one and only solution that provides a non-intrusive insight into any number of remote Drupal sites without the need of any third party service.
No matter where the Drupal sites are hosted and regardless of any configuration or deployment specifics, DRD is able to monitor and manage them all at once. The dashboard is build for Drupal 8, the monitored remote sites are supported on Drupal 6, 7 and 8."
Logo, User Interface, Style Guide, One Pager
The Drupal Remote Dashboard is a powerful tool. It is widely used and still has a lot of potential, as it is also being actively developed. In order to do justice to this initial situation and also to accelerate further distribution, it was time to give a previously purely technical Drupal module its own logo and design.
In addition to the DRD logo, a design concept was created with another logo for the associated DRD Agent module, as well as a style guide, a one-pager and various user interface components (dashboard, icons, ...).
"DRD Agent is simply a wrapper to receive, route, handle and respond to requests from authorized Drupal Remote Dashboards. Just download and enable the module and everything else will be managed by DRD.
"
Each remote Drupal site that should be monitored, requires the DRD Agent module installed and enabled. This module is a simple wrapper around the dynamically loaded DRD library which brings all the code that needs to be executed remotely.
