The first Green Power Marketing Conference took place in St. Moritz 12 years ago. Back then, it was entitled "With Green Power Marketing from niche to mass market". Nowadays, the time has come. Renewable energies have become a mass market. The "8th European Conference on Green Power Markets" will take place in Geneva in October.

Drupal CMS: Cloning & Skinning

We therefore helped the Swiss company Vereon AG with the implementation of the event website. Based on the existing standard event templates (cloning), the appearance of the website was gradually adapted to the corporate design of the conference series (skinning).

SEO: Google Rich Snippets

Rich snippets were also used. These are semantic annotations for search engines (Google, Bing, Yahoo!) so that they can better classify the meaning of the content. Content marked up in this way can be better evaluated by search engines and also displayed more prominently in the search results. (see also: Google Rich Snippets for Events)

The Green Power Markets website has been expanded globally to include the output of semantic tags for the location/address, date and time, title and description of the event (using RDFa). The annotations are then tested and verified using Google Webmaster Tools.
