Official foundation of the cyberLAGO association
We have been an active member of the IT competence network cyberLAGO for almost 1.5 years. Now the association of regional IT companies and universities is taking the next step: in the presence of Mayor Burchardt, the Konstanz Economic Development Agency and representatives of the state IT network Baden-Württemberg Connected as well as numerous members, the association was officially founded on 21.10.2013.
Lake Constance IT region: pooling expertise
The cyberLAGO network is aimed at companies from the IT, digital media and web technology sectors in Constance and the entire Lake Constance region. It connects companies with each other and with the two universities, the HTWG Konstanz and the Uni Konstanz.
The goals of the network are:
- Strengthening the IT location of Lake Constance
- Exchange and cooperation among each other
- Innovation and knowledge transfer between universities and companies
- Promotion of practice-oriented research projects and scientific theses
- Search for specialists, promotion of young IT talent
- Support for IT and digital media start-ups
- Local and supra-regional cooperation
Regular (public) specialist lectures
The network get-together "cyberTreff am Lago" takes place at regular intervals in de Bleiche in Stromeyersdorf. Guests who are interested in the lecture topics and simply want to drop by are cordially invited to all lectures.
